Police in Rohnert Park arrested a suspected street racer Wednesday night who allegedly had nearly twice the legal blood alcohol limit after a crash, authorities said.
According to a Facebook post from the city of Rohnert Park police and fire department account, Public Safety Graveyard Team officers arrested a suspect, identified as 22-year-old Jaydon Soldavini, following a car accident he was in “after street racing and burn out.”
Although no injuries were reported in the crash, the collision did cause property damage. Photos accompanying the post showed a red two-door Lexus stopped in the front yard of a house.
Officers tested Soldavini and found he was driving well over the legal alcohol limit with a BAC of 0.15%. He was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and booked into the Sonoma County Jail. His vehicle was also impounded for 30 days.
