A police officer in Ohio was ‘attacked’ at a Halloween display.

A Bay Village Police Department responded Monday evening to Wolf and Saddler roads on reports of a “runaway pumpkin,” according to a social media post.

Dashcam footage showed the inflatable pumpkin flying away from a garden and onto the street.

As soon as the officer got out, the video showed the inflatable swallowing him. He stepped out from under the screen and called for help.

“Fortunately, no officers (or pumpkins) were injured during the event,” Bay Village police said.

When the other officers arrived, the pumpkin was returned to its owner.
