The Buffalo Sabers defeated the New York Rangers 6-1 on Thursday evening (November 7). This was an incredibly impressive win for the Sabers, as the Rangers are considered legitimate contenders.
The Sabers also made some history in the process.
According to Buffalo Sabers PR, this win against the Rangers marked only the second time in franchise history that all 12 Sabers forwards recorded at least one point in a single game. The only other time the Sabers did this was in January. August 27, 1994, in a 7-2 win against the Washington Capitals.

Considering the Sabers have been around for over 50 years and have only done this once before, this is a great achievement for the current roster. It should be a real confidence booster, and it will be fascinating to see how they take this further from here.
