The Buffalo Sabers are looking to expand their roster. One specific area they need to improve is their forward group, and the Philadelphia Flyers have an interesting option in forward Morgan Frost.

Frost is a young attacker who could use a change of scenery. He has struggled to fit into Flyers head coach John Tortorella’s system and has been scratched several times as a result. While this is the case, there is no denying that he has attacking talent.
In his two previous seasons, Frost had at least 40 points in each season. In 19 games this season, he scored three goals and nine points. Although he has had a somewhat slow start to the 2024/25 season, he has been moving in the right direction of late, with two goals and an assist in his last two games.
If the Sabers were to acquire Frost, he would provide them with another option for their middle six and power play due to his playmaking ability. Additionally, noting that the 2017 first-round pick is only 25 years old, he still has the potential to reach another level. Maybe a change of scenery could be the push he needs to do just that.
