One of the many Sabers who has made a significant impact as of late is Owen Power. The 21-year-old has provided excellent offense from the start, with one goal and seven points in his last five games.
The potential for Power to pose a bigger offensive threat at this point is undoubtedly there. It’s one of the main reasons why the Sabers selected him with the first overall pick in 2021. Now we’re starting to see the Mississauga, Ontario native become just that.
In ten games so far this season, Power has two goals and eight points. Overall, it’s been a great start to the season for the 6-foot-4 defenseman, and if he keeps this up, he should have a nice breakout year for the Sabres. We’ll have to wait and see how he builds on his strong start from here.
