San Jose police said Saturday that three people have been arrested in connection with organized retail theft.
Officers were called to a west San Jose shopping center after several people entered two stores with “equipment designed to defeat anti-theft sensors.”
Police did not say how many people entered the stores, but said they arrested three of them.
One of those arrested was a 15-year-old girl. Police said they discovered she had a concealed, unregistered firearm when they arrested her.
She was booked into juvenile detention and the two adults were taken to jail.
