Oct. 7 – Sanford police are looking for a suspect in a stabbing at the Family Dollar in the Midtown Mall.
Robert Wilson, 59, of Sanford, was taken to Maine Medical Center Sunday evening after being stabbed inside the store, according to the department. He is in stable condition after being treated for stab wounds to his back and left side.
Police say the suspect is a man with long hair who was last seen wearing jeans, a backwards hat and a multi-colored hoodie. He was last seen driving north from the mall and allegedly stealing a backpack.
