Sarasota state lawmakers set a date for an input meeting before returning to Tallahassee

The Sarasota County Legislative Delegation, made up of local state lawmakers, will hold a meeting next month for residents, local officials and stakeholders to present issues and priorities before next spring’s legislative session begins.

The meeting will take place at the Sarasota County Commission Commission Chambers at 1660 Ringling Blvd. in downtown Sarasota Dec. 16 at 9 a.m

State Rep. Fiona McFarland will chair this year’s delegation meeting. Her office asked that anyone wishing to make a presentation at the meeting call 941-361-2465 or email her assistant at Andrew.Parker@myfloridahouse.gov by December 2.

In addition to McFarland, the local delegation will include Senator Joe Gruters, State Representative James Buchanan and recently elected State Representative Danny Nix Jr.
