June 3 – The National Weather Service calls the weather in Maryland this week unsettled with scattered storms around sunny and hot afternoons.

Isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected Monday evening before 8 p.m., as temperatures dip into the 60s.

Temperatures are expected to reach the upper 90s on Tuesday afternoon. There is a 20% chance of rain during the night until Wednesday morning.

Wednesday is expected to see a 60% chance of rain and possible thunderstorms starting at 2 p.m. with an afternoon high in the mid-80s. Wednesday night, the chance of rain increases to 70%, with thunderstorms also possible overnight.

Temperatures are also expected to reach the upper 90s on Thursday afternoon, with a 50% chance of rain and possible thunderstorms. There is a 30% chance of rain on Thursday night until Friday morning.

Friday and Saturday are both expected to be clear, with afternoon highs in the mid 80s and 60s at night. The chance of showers increases again Sunday afternoon.
