A serious overnight accident is being investigated in Billerica.
The crash happened on the northbound side of Route 3 near Treble Cove Road.
Boston 25 arrived on scene shortly after the crash occurred around 1 a.m. and saw a sedan on the other side of the guardrail.
First responders were seen rushing to the scene and we know one person was seriously injured.
The northbound highway was closed for a short time so crews could investigate.
