Michigan football coach Sherrone Moore pumped up the Crisler Center crowd with a flag-planting gesture on Saturday, a week after the Wolverines defeated Ohio State.
Attending a Wolverines men’s basketball game featuring five-star recruit Bryce Underwood, who verbally committed to Michigan last month, Moore was shown on the scoreboard pumping up the crowd during an intermission in the first half. While trying to make the building loud, he decided to remind everyone of last week’s post-match activities, which were the start of a fight.

The flag-planting fiasco became a hot topic in college football last week after several other games had postgame issues.
Both schools were ultimately fined $100,000 by the Big Ten for the fight that erupted after Michigan’s fourth straight win over its rival.
