The National Weather Service forecast for the greater San Francisco Bay Area for Saturday calls for mostly sunny skies with a slight chance of rain and patchy fog in some areas.
Forecasters said sprinkles and light rain showers focused on the North Bay would continue until noon. Rain amounts were expected to remain below 0.10 inches, although parts of coastal Sonoma and Marin counties have a 40-50% chance of slightly higher precipitation
Daytime highs will be mainly in the 60s to 70s on the coast, 70s around the bay and 60s to 70s inland. The lows will mainly be in the fifties and sixties.
Forecasters say an approaching cold front is expected to bring light rain through the morning, mainly in the North Bay. Low ceilings are likely to impact the air shows for Fleet Week.
The night will remain cloudy with a chance of rain and fog in some places.
