Stockton man accused of setting a mobile home fire that killed a woman and two children

Stockton police are looking for a man they say set a mobile home on fire early Tuesday morning, killing a woman and two children.

At 6:38 a.m., officers were called to the fire in the area of ​​Visalia Court and Harbor Street to assist the Stockton Fire Department in investigating suspected arson.

Police entering the mobile home found a woman and two dead children. Homicide detectives were then called in to take over the case.

Detectives believe the victims were asleep when the caravan was set on fire, police said. Their identities have not been released by police.

Investigators identified Jose Carmona, a 59-year-old Hispanic man, as a suspect in the case. According to Stockton police, he has several known aliases, including Jose Carmona-Estrada, Roberto Giron-Giron, Felipe Ramirez Leon, Juan Alonzo-Alemndares, Juan Alonzo, Jose Avilla Cardona and Andres Vecerra Torres.

Police said Carmona is considered dangerous and on the run. If you are seen, do not approach Carmona and call the police immediately. A photo of Carmona was released by police on Tuesday evening.
