“The Adventure Begins at Your Library” is this year’s Summer Reading Club theme at the Washington County Free Library.
Summer Reading Club is a program that allows readers of all ages to track their reading at their own pace and attend library events between June 1 and August 31.
There are four challenges for different age groups: early literacy (0 to 5 years), children (6 to 10 years), teenagers (11 to 18 years) and adults (19 years and older).
Earn badges to win prizes or enter to win raffles by logging books read. To register, visit www.washcolibrary.org/src and log in through Beanstack, a platform for tracking summer reading progress. Paper game boards are also available.
This year, the Summer Reading Club programs include a wide range of free family-friendly programs for all ages across the province:
