MINNEAPOLIS There will be a chill in the air early Wednesday, but temperatures in the Twin Cities will return to average by the afternoon as conditions remain sunny and dry.
Wednesday’s high is 61 degrees. A red flag warning is in effect in 27 counties in southwestern and western Minnesota due to an increased fire risk caused by dry and windy conditions. Hennepin and Ramsey counties are excluded.
Temperatures should get a bump to near 70 degrees on Thursday and into the lower 70s on Friday. It will also be windier on Thursday.
There is a chance of a few showers from Friday evening to Saturday.
Sunday will be the warmest day, with highs around 70 degrees.
