Portsmouth police announced Saturday that Rashaad Sincere Wilson has been charged with aggravated murder, robbery (carjacking) and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in connection with the murder of 32-year-old Anthony Lamont Jones.
On December 11 at 10:03 p.m., police responded to a call about an unconscious person at the intersection of Prentis Avenue and Race Street. When officers arrived, they found Jones suffering from a gunshot wound. Medics pronounced him dead at the scene.
Police say no additional details are available at this time.
