A group of suspects jumped out of their car after a chase in the Boyle Heights area on Monday.

The short chase came to an abrupt end near S. Fresno Street and Garnet Street, when the driver and three other people got out of the still-running car and ran into some area homes on foot.

SkyCal was overhead as the group dispersed. Some jumped fences into the backyards of homes and even walked to the front doors of some homes, with Los Angeles Police Department officers following close behind.

LAPD says the pursuit started when they determined the car was stolen.

It is unclear whether any arrests have been made yet.
