SZA hypes Billie Eilish’s ‘Gorgeous’ new album

SZA is loving Billie Eilish‘S Hit me hard and soft.

The “Kill Bill” singer joined X on Monday (June 3) to talk about Eilish’s third studio album, which was released on May 17. “Billie went crazy. This album is beautiful,” SZA wrote.

The 10-song set, produced as usual by the pop star’s brother and longtime collaborator Finneas, marks Eilish’s third studio LP, following 2019’s. If we all fall asleep, where do we go? and 2021 Happier than everboth of which spent three weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The project was preceded by no singles, with the 22-year-old singer telling fans from the moment she announced it: ‘I want to give it to you all at once. ”

On the June 1 Billboard 200 chart Hit me hard and soft debuted at number 2.

“Every time you release something, it feels like your nudes have been leaked a little bit,” the nine-time Grammy winner previously told Apple Music’s Zane Lowe about the album. “I think this one specifically is like that. Something Finneas and I said to a few people when we started playing it for people is that we made the album so that if someone had said, ‘I want you to make an album and no one will hear it. You don’t have to worry about anyone’s ears, opinions or anything. It’s in your contract to make an album, but no one can hear it.’ We pretty much made that album. We made that album without thinking much about other people.”
