CHICAGO (CBS) — A 14-year-old boy was charged with theft and assault on a CTA Red Line platform.

According to police, the teenager was charged with two counts of theft and two counts of aggravated assault on a transit passenger.

On September 16, police reported that the teen had been identified as one of the suspects who assaulted and robbed a 21-year-old man on a CTA platform in the 100 block of North State Street.

Police said the same teen has been charged in connection with another robbery and assault of a 22-year-old man that occurred hours after the robbery on the CTA platform. The second incident occurred in the 300 block of South State Street.
