MINNEAPOLIS — Blizzard Thursday has left Minnesota, but the wind will blow that snow around during the Friday morning commute.
The Twin Cities had an average accumulation of about 7 inches, with higher totals in the south and west and lower in the north.
Temperatures will drop in the storm system’s wake, with highs only in the teens on Friday in the metro. The wind is also blowing from the northwest between 15 and 20 km/h. Despite the cold there will be plenty of sun.
Saturday temperatures will rise into the low 20s with more clouds.
We start the Christmas week with a bigger warm-up, with temperatures around 30 degrees.
