The balloon release is stopped for the dead parking attendant at an apartment complex

Family members gathered to remember a man who was shot earlier this month.

A balloon was released Friday morning for 29-year-old Anthony Zellars in northeast Charlotte.

Zellars was fatally shot on Nov. 20 in the parking lot of the Townes Apartments on Arrowhead Road.

He was working for a parking enforcement company when he was killed.

His body was found next to a car with a trunk on the tire.

An arrest has yet to be made in this case.
