“This coffee maker makes excellent coffee, whether you brew it light, medium or heavy. We found that the recommended amount of coffee grounds produces a very, very strong brew. So we used less than stated in the manual. I didn’t use the frother because we prefer ours without milk. This machine is super easy to use and clean. It takes up little space on the counter. “I spent more on this than on any previous coffee maker I’ve owned. The performance of my Ninja pro blender that I purchased over 12 years ago gave me the confidence to purchase this item. It was worth every cent. The ability to make a wide variety of coffees was also an important factor. The ability to do that is one thing, but to perform that task at such a high level was unexpected, to say the least. I use Folgers BlackSilk coffee. The drinks I made on my counter tasted phenomenal and comparable to that coffee chain from Portland, for a fraction of the price. I’ve never had the milk frother attachment. I didn’t expect to use it, but that hasn’t been the case. I’ve come to love my iced latte topped with the thick frothy, creamy goodness. I am pleasantly surprised at how much my coffee palette has expanded. I was usually a cup of plain, black, strong coffee kind of guy. Now I enjoy all kinds of flavored drinks ranging from hot to cold and even ice cold. I can’t go further without touching on the ease of cleanup and maintenance of this unit. It is so easy to clean, practically rinse under running water and let dry. I would recommend this coffee maker to anyone who enjoys a great cup of joe!
