The crowd braves the rain and enjoys Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

Ponchos and umbrellas added to the atmosphere at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in a perpetually drenched Midtown Manhattan. But for the estimated three million people who lined the two-and-a-half kilometer route, the wet weather did not dampen the spirits. Tom Hanson reports.
