Police say Ryan Kobayashi, the father of missing Hawaiian woman Hannah Kobayashi was found dead last weekend.
Family members say he was in Los Angeles looking for his 30-year-old daughter, who hasn’t been seen in just over two weeks after arriving at LAX for a layover in early November.
He was found dead near the airport on Sunday and police say he appeared to have committed suicide.
As they mourn the loss, the family says they still believe Hannah is in immediate danger.
