The Financial Planning Association’s annual symposium takes place Oct. 22 in Starkville

STARKVILLE – The Financial Planning Association of Mississippi will hold its annual symposium, “Better Together: Our Best is Your Best,” on Oct. 22 at the Mill Conference Center, 600 Russell Street in Starkville. ‬

The symposium lasts from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM

The main speaker for the event is Gerard Gibert, who co-hosts MidDays on SuperTalk radio with Gerard Gibert. His talk is called “The American Political Landscape: Separating Fact from Fiction.”

This year’s symposium provides an opportunity to hear from leading speakers who share practical strategies for financial professionals, earn CE credits, and take time to connect with other financial planners and professionals. ‬

Speakers also include Eric Magyar and Janus Henderson, CFP, AIF, who will speak on “The Latest Generation of Fiduciary Failures”; Reggies Breaux, CFA, on “Planning for Healthcare in Retirement;” Dr. Brandon Cline of Mississippi State University, on “Managerial Indiscretions: Sex, Lies, and Fixed Value;” Dr. Jonathan Barlow, Mississippi State University, “Mapping the AI ​​Revolution: Current Landmarks and Future Destinations;” and RJ Dill, First Eagle Investments, on “Ultra High Net Worth.”
