PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Our first weekend in June and the start of meteorological summer may have been picture-perfect, but the first full work week of the month is a different story.

Several disturbances will pass through the Delaware Valley area over the next seven days, bringing the chance of showers and isolated storms almost every day.

None of the days seem to have a way out. Thursday will be the wettest as both a warm front and a cold front move through, and Tuesday will be the driest thanks to high pressure.

This week there will be a mix of sun and clouds every day. Temperatures will be on the warm side in the low to mid 80s, and humidity will rise.

No severe weather is expected, but with warm and humid conditions all week, any storm could briefly turn gusty or become close to strong, especially on Thursday.

Here’s a preview of what this week will look like day by day:

Seven-day forecast for the Philadelphia region for the first week of June.
  • Monday: Skies will be partly sunny with scattered showers and storms in the afternoon and evening. It will be warmer than average with slightly higher humidity. High: 85, Low: 67
  • Tuesday: Partly to mostly sunny, warm and humid. High: 86, Low: 65
  • Wednesday: Partly cloudy with a chance of a few showers in the afternoon. High: 63, Low: 82
  • Thursday: Showers and thunderstorms are likely, especially in the afternoon. It will be warm and muggy in the run-up to the storms. High: 84, Low: 70
  • Friday: Partly sunny with a chance of showers. Persistently warm temperatures, but not so humid. High: 81, Low: 62
  • Weekend: Showers are likely on both days with partly sunny skies and temperatures closer to normal in the upper 70s and low 80s.
