The Orlando Police Department wants to help you from being vandalized on May 18th

If sensitive documents are piling up at home, this is your chance to get rid of them safely.

The Orlando Police Department will be hosting an upcoming Community Shred event that will not only help you clean up, but also give you peace of mind.

On Saturday, May 18, OPD is encouraging residents to bring outdated documents, sensitive papers and old files with them so they can be safely destroyed on-site.

The event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at Rosemont Elementary School, located at:

  • 4650 Point Look Out Road, Orlando, Florida, 32808

Police remind residents that securely removing personal information helps combat consumer fraud and identity theft, which puts people and communities at risk.
