PITTSBURG – A fast-growing grass fire in Pittsburg started at a commercial building and then spread to nearby vegetation.

The fire was first reported around 4:30 p.m. in a building on John Henry Johnson Pkway in Pittsburg and had burned more than 100 acres of grassland around the building within an hour, according to social media posts from Contra Costa County Fire Protection. Neighbourhood.
