CHICAGO (CBS) — After to declare bankruptcy Last month, Oberweis Dairy had a new owner.
Winnetka-based private equity firm Osprey Capital submitted the winning bid at the bankruptcy auction Wednesday morning.
A statement from Osprey Capital’s parent company said plans were in the works to make “strategic investments” across the company, particularly the Aurora factory.
The company will reportedly keep the Oberweis Dairy name after the sale.
