The toll for the Downbeach Express in Margate City, New Jersey will increase by 25 cents

The Downbeach Express, formerly known as the Margate Bridge and Causeway, has announced a small toll increase from June 17. It costs 25 cents more per crossing for cash customers and 20 cents more for express pass customers. Officials said the increase will help cover the costs of maintaining the nearly 100-year-old infrastructure.
