Thursday is a First Alert Weather Day persistent rain, wind and cooler temperatures arrive. Places north and west of New York City some snow may also be visible.
Holidaymakers will take a break on Wednesday, but unfortunately they will have to deal with wet weather on Thanksgiving.
Wednesday will remain dry with a mix of sun and clouds. Temperatures will only reach the low 50s, so it will be about 5 degrees cooler than Tuesday.
Clouds will fill in Wednesday night, but the evening will remain dry. The showers will only spread across the area after midnight.
Then, a steady rain develops during the early morning hours of Thanksgiving, varying in intensity until mid-afternoon.
You’ll need a raincoat or poncho for the parade, and maybe some foot warmers, as temperatures will hover around 40 degrees.
