Thousands without power in Miami Valley as storms pass through

More than 1,000 people were without power in the Miami Valley on Thursday.

According to the AES power outage map, 1,080 AES customers were without power at 11:30 p.m.

The following faults have been reported:

• Province of Champaign: 536

• Dark Province: 6

• Green Province: 127

• Logan Province: 11

• Mercer Province: 1

• Miami Province: 1

• Montgomery County: 350

• Shelby County: 7

• Warren County: 35

At this time, there have been no significant power outages reported by Duke Energy or Ohio Edison customers.
