All three convicted men were in their late teens at the time of the crime.

On August 16, 2022, just before midnight, Billion was heard inviting random people he had just met at a Shell gas station to his home.

Billion was found dead on August 19, 2022, in a home in the 1300 block of South Duluth Avenue. Three projectiles were removed from the victim’s body. Police determined that all three shots were fired from the same gun, which had been reported stolen by a man in Florida. A fourth shot did not hit Bill, court documents show.
