Three people were found dead after officers received a call about a shooting and discovered a fire at the Lancaster home where it happened early Saturday.
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, officers arrived to find multiple people had been shot inside the home, located in the 44500 block of North Tabler Avenue. Upon arrival, officers noticed heavy smoke and flames in the home. They rescued two victims from the home and found another three individuals who were all deceased.
Paramedics took another person in unknown condition to a hospital, the fire department said.
911 was called at 1:27 a.m., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, which released a statement hours later Saturday morning saying no other information had been released.
Around 4 a.m., fire officials said one person was in custody, but sheriff’s officials later confirmed around 8 a.m. that no one had been arrested.
