Tom Brady hits the ice at the Devils practice facility

NEWARK, NJ – As the New Jersey Devils are in the middle of their road trip through Western Canada, an NFL legend took the ice at their practice field.

Former NHLer Tie Domi shared videos on his Instagram of himself on the ice at RWJBarnabas Health Hockey House with former NFL quarterback Tom Brady.

Brady, a seven-time Super Bowl champion, took the ice for the first time on Friday. On the second day, he skated without the aid of the aforementioned training aid.

The hockey news’ Toronto Maple Leafs correspondent David Atler spoke with Tie’s son, Max Domi, who shared his thoughts on the now-viral video.

“To see him finally kind of step into our world, it’s pretty spectacular,” Domi said The hockey news. “It’s great for the game. I think he’s gained a whole new appreciation for how hard it is to just skate, let alone play in an NHL game. But he’s definitely a fan of it now .”

The Devils return to New Jersey on Monday night after playing the Edmonton Oilers. I’m sure more than a few guys would welcome Brady to participate in their first practice at RWJBarnabas Health Hockey House.
