NEW YORK (AP) — A man and a woman who sold pro-Donald Trump merchandise from a bus covered in pro-Trump flags and posters are left homeless after the vehicle crashed into several street signs and utility poles in New York City.
The crash happened around noon on Sunday on Staten Island, fire officials said.
Donna Eiden, who had been living in the van with her husband, Rocky Granata, and their cat, Missy, told the Staten Island Advance that she was sleeping in the parked vehicle when it started rolling along Hylan Boulevard and crashing into signs. poles in his path.

“That is our life, we live in it; we travel in it. I have my daughter’s ashes in there,” Eiden told the Advance. “It’s our business. It is our life.”
Eiden had to be extricated from the wrecked vehicle, fire officials said. She did not require any medical treatment.
The bus was a regular at Trump rallies across the country before it crashed.
