Dec. 6 (UPI) — Ontario Provincial Police in Canada warned residents Friday morning to be on the lookout for two cows and a sheep wandering loose in downtown Kemptville.
Police said on social media that officers responded to the area to try to divert the animals away from the roads, but drivers were urged to “travel with caution through the area until they can be contained.”
Animal control officers were called to help capture the trio, and their owner was located later in the morning.
“For those wondering, owners can face charges if their animals escape multiple times. The fine is more than $400 including fees. That was not the case today,” officials wrote.
