Two injured after car crashes into bus shelter

MINNEAPOLIS— On Wednesday afternoon around 12.30 pm, a car crashed into a bus shelter.

Metro Transit Police say the crash happened near Central Avenue and 27th Avenue NE in Minneapolis. Two people, who were believed to be in the bus shelter at the time of the crash, were seriously injured.

They are expected to survive.

The driver of the car was arrested.
