Two men arrested after GA officers track down stolen dirt bikes

Two men are in jail after officers allege they stole three dirt bikes, an ATV and a pressure washer.

On Wednesday, June 26, deputies with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence on Lakeshore Drive for a report of a burglary.

According to the victim, someone broke into the shed and stole the items.

Investigators viewed Flock’s cameras near the home to identify the suspects’ vehicle and tracked it to Forest Park, Georgia.

Dylan Turner of Jackson and Jeffery Pope of Hogansville were arrested for burglary.

Pope also had outstanding warrants out of Troup County and Coweta County.

Both men are being held without bail in the Monroe County Jail.

All stolen property was returned to the victim.
