Two men shot, one fatally, on a Bronx street corner

Two men were shot, one fatally, on a street corner in the Bronx, police said Sunday.

Sakou Saho, 31, was shot multiple times in the chest Saturday at about 9:35 p.m. at Sheridan Ave. and McClellan St. in Concourse, officers said. A 49-year-old man was grazed in the abdomen.

Medics took both men to Lincoln Hospital, where Saho died. The other victim was in stable condition.

Saho lived in Mott Haven, police said. Public records show he served two years in prison for a 2019 weapons conviction in the Bronx.

Records show he also received a $50,000 settlement in 2020 in a lawsuit against the city and the NYPD alleging wrongful arrest.

Police have not yet made any arrests in connection with the shooting.
