A 16-year-old minor, whose identity has not been released, has been charged with juvenile delinquency charges that, if the suspect were an adult, would amount to attempted murder and two weapons charges, the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office announced Saturday morning.

The Passaic County Sheriff’s Office, which dispatched officers to the high school football game, found a 15-year-old and a 16-year-old both suffering non-fatal gunshot wounds around 7:30 p.m., the district attorney’s office said in a news release. Both were rushed to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson.
