Enjoy what’s left of the colors and leaves this weekend. Highs will be in the low 60s on Saturday and in the mid 60s on Sunday.

The warmest days will come early next week, when highs briefly return to the 70s.

Rain is likely to fall again on Wednesday, followed by a dry Thursday and Friday. This Saturday has the potential to be a soggy one.

How much rain did Minnesota fall on Thursday?

Thursday was the first day of measurable rainfall in the Twin Cities metro in more than a month, with just under a half inch of precipitation.

Marshall recorded the highest amount of precipitation, with two-thirds of an inch of rain.

Most of the state was in moderate to severe drought Thursday morning, according to the U.S. Drought Monitor.
