Kai Kara-France def. Steve Erceg via TKO (punches) – Round 1, 4:04
Former interim flyweight title challenger Kai Kara-France (25-11 MMA, 8-4 UFC) made a case to be back in the picture immediately with his first-round knockout of Steve Erceg (12-3 MMA, 3-2 UFC) – who was fresh off a title challenge of champion Alexandre Pantoja. The signature victory saw Kara-France ask to be next in line.
Fight of the Night: Dan Hooker vs. Mateusz Gamrot
Dan Hooker def. Mateusz Gamrot via split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28)
There was little doubt throughout much of the main card lightweight bout between Dan Hooker (24-12 MMA, 14-8 UFC) and Mateusz Gamrot (24-3 MMA, 7-3 UFC) that this was the best match of the night thus far. Hooker shocked fans in Australia when he pulled off a significant upset with a split decision. The bonus was Hooker’s first since 2020, when he was twice named Fight of the Night.
