(Reuters) – U.S. envoy Amos Hochstein plans to meet with French officials in Paris on Wednesday to discuss ways to dismantle increasing cross-border fire between Hezbollah and the Israeli military, the New York Times reported on Wednesday.
Last month, Hochstein said Washington wanted to avoid a “bigger war” after cross-border fire between Hezbollah and the Israeli army increased along Lebanon’s southern border in recent weeks.
