US Marshals searching for suspect in Hampton Wingstop shooting

The U.S. Marshal Service is looking for Isaiah Daqwon Harris, 26, in connection with a deadly shooting at a Hampton Wingstop on Valentine’s Day.

Harris, who also goes by “Blicky Sum,” is charged with manslaughter, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, two counts of discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon . Senior Inspector Robert Bowers said in a news release that investigators believe he is visiting the southeastern community of Newport News.

The murder took place at the Wingstop at Coliseum Crossing, across the street from the Peninsula Town Center. Harris is suspected of killing 29-year-old Travell Lavar Giles and Harris at the restaurant. Giles, the assistant manager at the Wingstop, died at the scene. It was the second shooting at a restaurant in the city in three months.

Officers found Giles’ body on the kitchen floor, a few feet from the counter, according to a search warrant affidavit. Police found seven .40-caliber shell casings, the affidavit said. They also found bullets and bullet fragments, fingerprints and DNA swabs.
