A new vegetation fire burning near Tracy early Monday evening prompted a response from the Alameda County Fire Department and Cal Fire.
The fire was on Patterson Pass Rd. near North Midway Rd., and firefighters reported burning about 15 acres just before 5 p.m.
The fire was under control on Monday evening and the fire brigade reported that 110 hectares had been burned.
Officials said the spread was moderate. CHP said road closures were in place for Patterson Pass Rd., Midway Rd. and South Flynn Rd. Drivers are advised to use I-580 eastbound.
Shortly before 6 p.m., Cal Fire officials said the so-called Patterson Fire had burned 95.5 acres and was 50% contained. Alameda County Fire reported the acreage was higher at 110 acres.
The vegetation fire is about 22 kilometers away the Corral Fire burned more than 14,000 acres. As of Monday morning, the Corral Fire was 75% contained.
Earlier Monday afternoon, Cal Fire announced that all evacuation warnings related to the Corral Fire had been lifted and that all road closures would be lifted beginning at 6 p.m.
