November 4 – In honor of Veterans Day, officially recognized on November 11, north Alabama will host parades and ceremonies honoring the nation’s former service members.
On November 11, the Morgan County Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony begins at 10 a.m. at the corner of North Bethel Road and Greenfield Drive in Priceville. The parade ends at the Morgan County Veterans Memorial, on Alabama 67, where a ceremony begins at 11 a.m.
Also on Nov. 11, Hartselle will hold a Veterans Day program at 10 a.m. on Railroad Street in front of the depot, followed by a parade at 11 a.m. beginning on Railroad Street and continuing on Main Street.
In Moulton, a Veterans Day Parade will take place at the Lions Club, 455 School St., Moulton, on November 11 at 6 p.m.
The Athens Limestone County Veterans Day Parade will take place on November 11 at 11 a.m., starting at Athens High and ending at the Athens-Limestone Public Library.
