SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) – A victim died Friday evening at a local hospital after being shot in San Francisco, San Francisco police said.
The shooting happened in the 1200 block of Mission Street around 7:13 p.m. Officers performed CPR on the victim, who was taken to a hospital where he died.
Officers identified and arrested a possible suspect. The investigation into the shooting is still ongoing.
Earlier on Friday, another shooting took place just blocks away from where the fatal shooting occurred. The SFPD responded to the area of 11th Street and Norfolk Street at 2:34 PM for a shooting that left a victim with non-life-threatening injuries.
