Paige VanZant was finally the winning participant again on Friday during Power Slap 8.
In the intriguing debut of the UFC, BKFC and boxing veteran in the highly polarizing Power Slap organization, VanZant hit the cleaner punches over three rounds and won unanimously over Christine Wolmarans by scores of 30-25, 30-25 and 30-25.
VanZant’s punch in round 2 sent her opponent to a knee and was the turning point of the match in her favor at the Fontainebleau Hotel & Casino.

“Of course I wanted to knock her out with the first punch,” VanZant told Charly Arnolt in her post-match interview. but I was ready. That was really fun. … I was surprised that I wasn’t really nervous. This really feels incredible.”
VanZant said she will return in the future.
“Honestly, this is too much fun to leave out,” VanZant said. “That was so great. I told y’all, I’m a gangster.”
