(CBS DETROIT) – A semi-truck lost control and crashed into a work truck on a Michigan highway Monday, police said.
Video footage shows that at approximately 12:30 p.m., crews were working in a construction zone on southbound US-127 in Delhi Township when a semi-truck carrying two gravel trucks lost control and left the roadway.
According to state police, the second truck fishtailed and struck a parked truck carrying two construction workers.
The passenger suffered minor injuries.
State police say the truck driver was cited for careless driving in a construction zone.
After the crash, state police reminded motorists to slow down in construction zones.
